The Norma Smith Handling Seminar

  • Adams County Fairgrounds Brighton, CO (map)

Goal:
The goal for this seminar is to help fix what is not working and gain the WINNING EDGE.
Saturday 8AM to 5 PM:
This will cover aspects of showing for both beginners and experts. Demonstrations and discussion will include the best way to stack your dog, discussion about the best pacing, what to do when your dog posts, and the best speed for your dog and why. Ring procedures will be discussed. We will be working one on one with you and your dog's issues. And most importantly, any question you can think of will be addressed.
Sunday 8 AM to 5 PM:
Sunday will be a continuation of more one on one help, questions and answers. In the afternoon, there will be a mock dog show, but it won't be your dog that is being judged - think of this as the best junior handling class for adults! Participants without a dog will be able to observe and ask questions while the show is occurring. Awards will be given for the best in seminar, most improved, most professionally dressed, etc. Bring your show clothes and prepare for some competition with your new found knowledge!
